ABOUT JAVIK STATION
Founded in 2017, Javik Station began as a gay sci-fi roleplay sim with monthly parties. Today it's a thriving community of creators, artists, DJs, and photographers, active both in-world and on our Discord.
Giving back has been part of who we are from the start. Since 2018 we've raised money for the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, regularly ranking among the top Second Life teams with L$600,000–800,000 (US$2,400–3,200) raised twice a year.
- 2022: Andrei Javik served as marketing director for SciFi Expo, which raised L$2,411,199 (US$9,644.80) for Making Strides.
- 2023: Two months of fundraising on our sim raised L$1,001,208 (US$4,004) for Relay For Life, with L$534,303 (US$2,213) on opening night alone. We were named Top New Individual Fundraising Team. That November, Javik Station and COX Leather launched the Mr. SL Leather Contest at our first Folsom weekend. The titleholders have served as mascots for our Relay For Life weekend every year since.
- 2024: Our Relay For Life weekend raised L$1,500,250 (US$6,001).
- 2025: We raised L$1,087,500 (US$4,248).
- 2026: A record year. We raised L$2,062,150 (US$8,248.60), nearly double 2025.
We're proud of what we build together, and of the difference our community makes.
